Chandlersville Halloween party for the kids

Chandlersville, Ohio- The Chandlersville Homecoming Building Committee held their 10th annual Halloween party Sunday evening.

President, Darren Sears, said that there’s a lot of work that goes into this event to ensure that it’s successful.  He said that they do this every year just for the children of the community.

“We’re concerned about the safety of the kids outside when it’s dark out and they’re trick-or-treating,” said Sears.  “So we thought that this would be a good alternative for people to come in and it’s turned out to be a really great event.”

Sears said that they had a lot of fun activities for the children such as door prizes, gift bags, best and scariest costume prizes, ring toss games, face painting and craft tables for the kids.

Sears hopes to keep the event a yearly tradition for the years to come.
