Charges Filed in Greenwood Ave. Shooting

Zanesville,OH- Zanesville Police have announced charges have been filed against three individuals connected to a shooting Monday morning on Greenwood Avenue.
Det. Sgt. Phil Michel said 38-year-olds Lovely Worden and Kayla Hargraves are each charged with one count of attempted aggravated murder with a firearm specification and two counts each of felonious assault with a firearm specification. 44-year-old Jamie Jarret of Zanesville was charged with one count of complicity to attempted aggravated murder.
All individuals are being held in the Zanesville City Jail. Their cases will go before a Muskingum County Grand Jury at a later date.
Monday, December 9, Zanesville Police were called to the 1000 block of Greenwood Avenue in reference to a shooting. Authorities said they found a 20-year-old man had been shot. He was taken to Genesis Hospital and later transferred to Grant Hospital for his injuries. He’s in stable condition.
Det. Sgt. Michel said they were able to develop a suspects vehicle, which was later located by the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office. The occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody.
Search warrants were obtained for a homes at 3795 E. Darlington Drive and 875 Shiplett Road. Two suspects were taken into custody on Shiplett Road.
