Charges Filed in Wednesday Robbery

The Guernsey County  Prosecutor has filed charges against a man supsected in a Wednesday robbery.

Prosecutor Dan Padden said 26-year-old James Baldwin III, of Cambridge, was charged Friday with one count of robbery.

According to Cambridge Police the Secrest Carry Out on Steubenville Avenue and First Street was robbed Wednesday.

Police said the clerk described the suspect and during a search of the area Baldwin III was arrested on Gomber Avenue.

He’s currently being held in the Guernsey County Jail.
