Charles David Hankinson (October 19, 1952 – March 14, 2011)

Charles David Hankinson, 58, of Zanesville passed away Monday evening, March 14, 2011 at his residence. He was born Oct. 19, 1952 in Zanesville, the son of the late Rodney L. and Ruth Pratt Hankinson, Sr. of New Lexington. Charles was a member of the South Zanesville United Methodist Church. He graduated from New Lexington High School. He loved poetry and even enjoyed writing his own poems.
He is survived by his Aunts, Wilda Ferguson of New Lexington, Alice (Paul) Jones of Zanesville, Uncle, Thomas (Sydney) Hankinson of Brentwood, Ca., and numerous nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Thomas Hankinson and Rodney Hankinson, Jr.
A cremation will take place and graveside services will be observed at a later date at New Lexington Cemetery.
