Charles W. Glosser Jr., 83 of Zanesville died at 5:50 AM Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Zanesville Health & Rehab following a lengthy illness.

He was born September 3, 1934 in Muskingum County, the son of Charles W. Glosser Sr. and  Clara Louise (Tyo) Glosser.

Charles was a United States Army Veteran and retired from Rockwell International, Columbus Ohio after many years of service. He enjoyed fishing, arrowhead hunting, throwing darts, playing horse shoes, shooting pool and bowling.

He  is survived by, a son Robert John (Karen Hall) Glosser of Plato, MO and a daughter Bethany Sorrell Glosser of Washington Courthouse; his grandchildren, Monica (Kevin) Ward, Sean (Ruth) Hall, Allie (Sean) Robey, Shannon Robey, Brandy (Justin) Wiser; 14 great grandchildren; his siblings, Donna Maurice, Jimmy Glosser and Bonnie Barton and several nieces & nephews.    Charles was preceded in death in addition to his parents, by his wife, Nancy C. (Pickens) Glosser, two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 30th at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Pastor Mark Dupler officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery.
