Christmas in July at the Welcome Center

ZANESVILLE, OH – With the summer heat in full swing, there’s a chance to cool down with some Christmas favorites later in July.
Beginning at 5:30PM on July 24th at the Welcome Center, Once Upon A Christmas Productions will be hosting their very first Christmas in July Concert.
Shelly Burley, the Director, says the night will begin with appetizers and drinks and then at 6 the concert will begin.
“We have classics, we have classics from “Silver Bells” but with a twist because you can always count on it. I’ve been doing this a long time, we’re going to twist some stuff up.” Burley said. “So we have your classics like “Oh Holy Night” but we also have some young, fresh kids they’re going to be singing “I Wish it could be Christmas Everyday” because who doesn’t love Christmas, I mean hello! Christmas is my favorite time of the year.”
Burley says there will be jazz, country, gospel, and everything in between to scratch your Christmas itch.
Marti King, is a cast member, and says it’s been a blast getting the crew back together to be able to perform for the community once again.
“It’s been amazing, Shelly does an amazing job and just coming together with all the cast members that we have, it’s just so rewarding.” King said. “To get together as a family again and in my heart it’s like, it just brings the spirit back out into everything.”
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at onceuponachristmas.live.
