Christmas Show Beginning Auditions
Christmas may be 13 weeks away, but it’s never too early to start preparing.
Secrest Auditorium is gearing up for it’s annual Christmas show. “Once Upon a Christmas III” is back on December 12, with two live shows. Auditions begin next week. Producer, Shelly Burley, said they’re looking for all facets of talent.
“Our auditions are actually coming up this Monday, on the 28th and 29th, here at Secrest from 6 to 8 p.m.,” Burley said. “We are excited because we know we have great, fantastic singers, dancers, interpretive signers here in Zanesville.”
Tickets for the show are just $12 per person and all proceeds benefit Christ’s Table. Over the last few years, Burley said they’ve raised more than $1,000 for a good cause.
“The theme this year is “One Night with the King,” we’re looking at a lot of royalty, and we’re pretty excited about the theme that we’re bringing to Secrest this year,” Burley said.
If you’re interested in auditioning, your audition cannot exceed three minutes. Burley said to bring your monologue or song, and come ready to impress.
