ZANESVILLE, Ohio – One local organization is leaving its doors open for anyone in the community on Christmas Day.

Christ’s Table is holding their annual Christmas dinner tomorrow serving the classic ham and yams meal. Christ’s Table will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Christ’s Table’s Executive Director, Keely Warden, invites all of the public to join, especially if they have no where else to go.

“We think holidays are very important. Those we serve become our family, and who more do you want to share the holidays with but your family? That’s how we are here at Christ’s Table, we are here 365 days a year,” Warden said.

Christ’s Table is requesting for more homemade holiday cookies to serve as well. Their aim is to make it feel like you are celebrating the holidays at home.

“Homemade cookies is what people look forward to on Christmas Day. So if you’ve got an extra plate of cookies, or an extra half plate of cookies, bring them on down. Those that we serve will be happy to have them tomorrow,” Warden added.

Christ’s Table will also be open for New Year’s coming up next week.
