Christ’s Table Thanksgiving Dinner
ZANESVILLE, Ohio – One local organization will leave its doors open for those who have no where to go for Thanksgiving.
Christ’s Table is holding their annual Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow serving the classic Thanksgiving meal with turkey, potatoes, and more. Christ’s Table has been serving this dinner for 31 years, and they are always open on holidays.
“Come on down, enjoy a nice meal with us. We also want to put a huge thank you out to the community for coming together. It really does take a community to plan a Thanksgiving dinner for as many people as we serve,” said Christ’s Table’s Executive Director, Keely Warden.
Christ’s Table will be delivering meals to home bound people as well, in case there are others out there that can not make their way out to Christ’s Table. The Zanesville Jaycees will be helping out with the deliveries so the Christ’s Table volunteers who typically drive on Thursdays can spend time with their families.
“We just want the community to know if you’re not someone that comes here every day, and you’re just all alone on Thanksgiving day, don’t be alone. Come to Christ’s Table, we’d be happy to share a Thanksgiving feast with you, and be part of something, that’s what we do here at Christ’s Table,” Warden added.
Christ’s Table will be serving meals from 10:30 to 12:30 p.m. at their location at 28 S 6th St in Downtown Zanesville.
