Christ’s Table Volunteers Serve Meals and Spread Goodwill

ZANESVILLE OH – The volunteers at Christ’s Table were busy spreading goodwill and handing out Thanksgiving dinner.
For some families it has become a tradition to spend Thanksgiving together while helping out their community. Rock Zemba, a volunteer, said he has been helping out at Christ’s Table since he was little.
“I have volunteered here ever since I could walk,” Zemba said. “This is just something my family and I do. It’s just become our tradition every year.”
Keely Warden, the Executive Director at Christ’s Table, said they had delivered over 350 meals to those that are homebound. Warden also said it means the world to here to have a family come back year after year to help the community.
“They truly are a Thanksgiving family,” Warden said. “We just know they’re going to be here, they know what to do in the kitchen, and it’s just great to know that they have shared this tradition with their family for many, many years.”
