City Tire Pros: Players of the Week

Zanesville, OH- Five weeks down, five to go in high school football. The rankings are starting to take shape and we have more honors to hand out for the local stars this week on the football field.

Our City Tire Pros Player of the Week on Z92 is Ryan Lamonica. He had 4 catches, 160 yards and two touchdowns in helping lead Tri-Valley to a 5-0 record after they defeated New Lexington.

The Junior Gator Nichols helped lead the Maysville Panthers to a win over Coshocton in our Highway 103 game. He tallied 100 yards of offense between the ground and air en route to a 20-12 victory.

It was a tight defensive minded game on AM 1240 for Zanesville. Canon Mercer led the way with 10 tackles and two pass break-ups in the game.

Our Community Bank TV Game of the Week honored Philo’s Talon Preston. He accounted for 170 yards on 30 carries and a 103 yard pick six in the Electric’s victory over Meadowbrook.
