City Tire Pros: Players of the Week

It’s been a busy week in high school basketball. WHIZ’s radio stations were busy covering some of the best local teams. We have three stars to tell you about in our City Tire Pros Players of the Week.

On Highway 103, Maysville secured a season sweep over fellow small school heavyweight Coshocton. Despite the loss Alex Taylor had a great game with 26 points on 14 of 16 shooting.

Tri-Valley secured back-to-back wins with a comfortable victory over Morgan. The Scotties were led by Keaton Hahn with 15 points as he finished from the outside and inside and did a little bit of everything on the way to the win ahead of a big matchup with Maysville.

And on AM1240, a pair of games from Zanesville in a busy week, CeeJay Whitfield stepped up for the devils. He came off the bench with an impressive performance against a tough Cambridge squad on Saturday.
