CJ is Seeking a Family

An energetic teen is searching for a family. His name is CJ and Adoption Case Worker Kelly Riley has known him for three years. During that time she said CJ is very energetic and is a pleasure to be around.

Right now, CJ leaving around a wide variety of animals, which includes pet donkeys, dogs, cats and other barnyard critters. He hopes to one day work with animals.

"He currently lives on a farm," said Riley. "He does like being around animals though he does require a high level of supervision."

"I like dogs. They are playful," added CJ.

When he’s not with the farm animals he’s more likely to be in the kitchen helping prepare healthy meals. He’s taking a cooking class in school this fall.

"I like to make bean dip," said CJ. "At our house we put salsa in it."

Besides animals and cooking he has a new passion in life.

"I like to play sports like basketball and football."

"He’s very energetic very much into sports. He’s discovered a real liking for sports in the last year or so," said Riley.

CJ would now like to find a permanent place to call home. One that hopefully includes older brothers and sisters.

Riley said, "He loves to learn new things. Very family oriented."
