Class of 2015 Graduates From ZHS
The Zanesville High School Class of 2015 walked across the stage Saturday in their graduation ceremony.
Over 200 Blue Devils dressed in decorated caps and blue and white gowns to receive their diplomas. Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Ohio, Maureen O’Connor delivered the commencement address. She shared a unique message to the students.
“My message tonight is simple and it might not be one that you would expect.” Said, O’Connor “I’m not going to tell you to change the world, although I certainly hope that each and every one of you do that in both your personal life and your careers. I’m here to tell you this–please consider a path of non traditionalism.”
O’Connor told the students who they are now will be different from who they are in the future. Family and friends watched proudly as seniors reached their goals.
