Clippers Tickets at Mayor’s Office

Zanesville residents are encouraged to make it out to Huntington Ballpark to enjoy not only peanuts and crackerjacks but a Clippers game.

At the mayor’s office tickets are now on sale for Friday’s Zanesville night at the Columbus Clippers. If you’re looking for a reason to attend, Columbus currently sits in first place and the ballpark was voted best in the nation last season.

"There’s going to be races like in the big leagues," said Zanesville Mayor Butch Zwelling. "They’re going to pull Zanesville fans to participate in these races. It ought to be a real fun night."

The mayor said ticket sales in Zanesville have been slow but he hopes that will change.

"I think the weather has everything to do with it and it’s predicted to be sunny on Friday and Saturday so everybody can rest assured it’s not going to rain Friday night so come to the mayor’s office and get your tickets," said Mayor Zwelling.

General admission tickets are $5.00, reserved seats are $10.00. The mayor will be throwing out the first pitch and local singer Cassandra McDonald will be performing the National Anthem.
