Collecting Supplies For Flood Victims Of West Virginia

ZANESVILLE, Ohio-A local organization will be filling a truck with disaster relief supplies to help the flood victims of West Virginia on Wednesday through Sunday.
A trailer will be parked at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church located on 7th Street in downtown Zanesville.
“After this flood occurred, we decided that we needed a central point to collect donations,” Director of Education Erin Webb said. “They are trying to get things like mops and things that. Everything is off the shelves in West Virginia, so they have no way accessing supplies.”
The truck will leave Sunday evening, but in addition to the disaster relief supplies this organization is also making a plea to the community.
“We will need help as you can see loading the trailer outside. And if people would like to come down and help make phone calls to different area businesses, or just reaching out and contacting friends and families,” Webb said.
