ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Saturday the Colony Square Mall held the 14th Annual Santa Parade despite the frigid temperatures.

Saint Nick was greeted by several onlookers. The jolly guy received a warm welcome to the City of Zanesville.

“The weather is not real cooperative but it did stop raining,” Colony Square Mall, Business and Marketing Director, Kevin Pinson
said. “So we’re happy to see that, but of course Santa travels in all weather. We’re definitely going on with the parade. Quite a few kids and families are out there braving the weather to see him make his official arrival at the mall.”

Area bands, youth, and veterans groups all aided in welcome Kris Kringle to town. Pinson said the mall only canceled the Santa parade once due to an ice storm.

“But other than that, rain, sunshine, we’ll have the parade and celebrate Santa’s arrival,” Pinson said.

Pinson said breakfast with Santa and the gang was successful this morning. Santa’s hours will vary during this Christmas season. For full list of Santa’s visiting hours visit colonysquaremall.com.
