How to combat Stink Bugs

ZANESVILLE, Ohio-The cooler temperatures are causing an increase in invasive bugs entering our homes.

Stink bugs can be a huge problem especially with the cooler climate. We stopped by the Do-It Center on East Pike to see what products are available to help combat those pesky bugs.

“Take these sprays and your spray all the cracks and crevices around your baseboard, around your appliances, your furniture,” Salesperson, Dayle Bailey said. “Try getting back in the cracks and crevices as well as you can.”

Bailey said the same way you winterize your home you can also take preventive measures against bugs, by covering all the cracks and openings around you home.

“After you do that spray those surfaces, because you can spray the foundation outside and even the ground next to your house and the vegetation as well. That will keep them away from your house,” Bailey said.
