Commissioners Meet with Consulting Solutions Company
A regional consulting solutions company is looking to work with Muskingum County.
This afternoon, the county commissioners met with De Novo, a cost allocation company with many years of experience working with indirect cost allocation plans for county and city governments. Senior project manager, Kate Hemleben, says De Dovo would be a great fit for Muskingum County.
"We are fresh eyes that come in and look at the cost allocation plan in order to make sure we get the best benefit of the indirect costs for the federal government programs."
If the commissioners decide to move forward with De Novo, Hemleben says the next step would be to have a kick-off meeting to discuss the information they would need to begin a cost allocation plan.
"We’re a regional company, mostly out of Minnesota and Ohio and we’re able to provide services as a new fresh look, and we don’t have the overhead that large company’s have. So we’re not totally interested in a 15% profit increase and trying to market towards our stake holders."
Hemleben says the overall goal for De Novo is to provide Muskingum County with the best services and hopes to see an increase in the dollar amount that can stay in the county.
