Community Helps Local Woman Fight Breast Cancer

The Zanesville community is coming together to help a woman fight cancer.

Designer Furniture Warehouse on Maysville Pike hosted a Cruise-In For a Cause benefiting Kayla Gray who is fighting stage three melenoma breast cancer for the second time.

"It helps a lot, especially because you start getting depressed and down on yourself. The support really, really helps. Just that alone," said Gray.

Gray’s best friend Brittany Dolen has been there since the beginning.

"We’re selling t-shirts, there’s different decorations, there’s a bake sale, there’s different gift bags, gift cards from different local businesses," said Dolen.

All proceeds will help pay for treatment and travel expenses to St. James Center in Columbus.
