Constituents Asking Space to Listen

Another group is swinging by Congressman Zack Space’s Zanesville Office to get its message out.

The Licking County Tea Party and others protested outside Space’s office this evening.

“We’re going to be peaceful. We’re going to be solid. We will not be moved, and we will be heard, ” says Co-Coordinator, Juanita Hockingberry.

Hockingberry says they want Space to know the don’t want the government to interfere with the health care system. That’s why the group is sending Space a petition, saying they want him to vote against the health care bill.

Congressman Space says he’s continuing to gather input from his constituents, whether it be through phone calls to individuals or meetings with health officials. He says he’s trying to reach as many of his 63,000 constituents as he can, in a district that is close to the size of New Jersey.
