Coshocton area man charged in drug bust

Authorities say a Coshocton area man is facing charges in connection to a drug investigation.

Coshocton County Sheriff Tim Rogers says 59-year-old Dale Smith was taken into custody Friday  following the execution of a  search warrant at a home on Pine Street that is near a local day care facility.

Sheriff Rogers says Smith is charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs, a second degree felony.

Authorities also seized a large amount of drugs and drug related items at the residence.

A female was also taken into custody but was released pending the outcome of the investigation.
