DRESDEN, OH – This weekend is the 21st annual Country Crossroads Education of Yesterday Farm Show in Dresden.

The show has a variety of fun things to do while in attendance, such as using farm equipment, playing in a sandbox full of corn, and eating specialty foods. The Moore family continues the tradition in honor of Kenny Moore Jr. who started it all.

“I continue because I want to honor my father and that’s what we’re all doing.” Kendra Moore-Hindel, the Event Coordinator said. “But it’s great to see. 21 years ago, when I see a young kid and family come in, and now he’s coming back with his kids, and they’ve made it a family tradition, and they’re interested in some of them have their own little tractors that they brought out today. So it’s just great to see it. And it makes my heart feel good. And that’s why we’re continuing it on.”

Farmers also got to interact with each other and discuss their life’s work, but you didn’t have to be a farm enthusiast to enjoy this event

“So, but, yeah, just for them to come out and there’s hands on demonstrations in the back where they can peel a corn and throw it in there and see everything happen.” Moore-Hindel explained, “And just if you look around, there’s just so much to do. Even though we try to do it all farm related, I don’t think any of them, you know, they don’t care that it’s farm related. They’re just out here having fun and it’s something different for them. So we’ve got all kinds of stuff that’s different. So we like to do that.”

If you want to attend the Country Crossroads Education of Yesterday Farm Show, they will be open Sunday from 10AM to 4PM
