Couple Celebrates With New Year’s Eve Wedding

One local couple is celebrating a special event on this New Year’s Eve.

It’s Braden Sharrer and Lindsay Lloyd’s wedding day. The groom says they began dating in high school nine years ago on New Year’s Eve. He says Lindsay is the love of his life and he knows she is the one he wants to spend his life with.

"I think I knew after about a year, I told her that and you know it has just been a great ride ever since. It has been really fun and we have enjoyed ourselves, we never had any doubts about it," says Sharrer.

Family and friends say they can tell how in love Lindsay and Braden are.

"If there was ever a marriage made in heaven, this is it," says Jeannene Cozad-Oliver, grandmother of the bride.

Around 250 guests watched Lindsay walk down the aisle and marry Braden at Saint Nicholas Church in Zanesville.

While many will be celebrating the new year, Lindsay and Braden will be celebrating their new life together.
