Couple Traveling Around the World

Imagine dropping everything and traveling around the world.  That’s the plan for a Zanesville couple.

Daniel and Jordan Orofino quit their jobs and sold their home to follow their dreams.  They’re starting their journey in South America, and from there, the couple will tour Africa, Europe, Asia and Australia.

"We just want to learn more about other cultures and the way of life in places other than the United States, because it’s so drastically different," said Jordan.

The Orofinos aren’t making arrangements in advance, other than booking the first hotel and airfare to Colombia.  The couple said this trip has been in the works for a while, but they didn’t want to wait forever.

"We wanted to get our student loans paid off and get established in our careers first to gain some experience," said Daniel.  "We waited about three years after she graduated from college to pull the trigger."
