Covid Testing Tent Comes Down

A symbol of Covid in Muskingum County has been removed.

Genesis Health Care System said that the Covid-19 testing tent from the parking lot at the Genesis HealthPlex was taken down due to a lower incidence of Covid-19 in the community.

Covid testing will continue to be available at Genesis FirstCare locations in Muskingum and Perry counties.

Hours for Genesis FirstCare-North on Maple Avenue are Monday-Friday 8AM-8PM and Saturday and Sunday from 10AM-8PM.

Hours for FirstCare-New Lexington are Monday-Friday 10AM-8PM and Saturday 10AM-4PM.

All those entering Genesis’ facilities must wear masks in keeping with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Guidelines for healthcare facilities.
