Craft Beer Tasting for a Cause

Craft beer is a sweeping trend and historic downtown Cambridge is tasting 16 flavors for a cause.

The annual Cambridge BrewBQ took to the McKennas parking lot once again to raise money for downtown revitalization. The event brings in beer from the buckeye state for patrons to enjoy including Weasel Boy bBrewing from right here in Zanesville. Main Street Cambridge is dedicated to preserving Cambridge’s rich history.

“It’s important to keep this community alive as it is every community,” said Board of Directors Member Lori Waren Jones. “Everybody has to have business and people coming to visit because just local vendors and local buyers don’t get it. You need people to come from out of state, out of town, and that’s what this is supposed to try to promote.”

Jones said that she’s happy with the big turn-out and plans to be at the same place this time next year.
