Crime Stoppers Offer Reward

The Licking County Crime Stoppers group is offering up to a $1000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a gun theft case. It happened in Newark between March 3rd and the 5th. Newark Police say someone stole a handgun from a home in the 300 block of Wehrle Avenue. Anyone with information on the crime is urged to call 740 349-6888 or 1-888 488-9058. A special coding system protects the identity of the caller but allows for the reward to be issued at a later time.
