Crooksville Woman Arrested in Guernsey Co.
Guernsey County– A Crooksville woman faces charges in Guernsey County.
The Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office said early Wednesday morning detectives from the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force coordinated a traffic stop with the Sheriff’s Office Investigation Division.
During the traffic stop authorities said suspected methamphetamine packaged for sale, drug paraphernalia items consistent with with drug trafficking and U.S. currency were seized.
During the traffic stop, Brandy Michelle Smith, age 44, of Crooksville was taken into custody and has since been charged by investigators with Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs, a Felony of the Third Degree; and Aggravated Possession of a Drugs, a Felony of the Third Degree.
Smith remains in custody at the Guernsey County Jail pending her arraignment.
