Cynthia G. Fowler (January 27, 1928 – September 9, 2010)

Cynthia G. Fowler, 82, of Zanesville, passed away at 7:40 AM Thursday September 9, 2010 at Genesis Extended Care & Rehab.

She was born January 27, 1928 in Santoy, OH the daughter of the late Stanley and Elizabeth Collins Bowen. She was member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and retired after 40 years from United Technologies in 1992. Cynthia was a loving and caring mother and grandmother who enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends.

Cynthia is survived by her daughter: Brenda (Robert) Lavy of Zanesville and son: David Fowler of Zanesville, grandchildren: Valerie (Rick) Gethin, Ashley Fowler, David Fowler II and Cade Devoll, great grandchildren: Caleb Wolford and Drew Wolford, step-grandchildren: Chuck Lavy, Rusty Lavy and Susan Todd, step-great grandchildren: Hunter, Alexis and Paige Gethin, Brother: James Bowen of Zanesville, sisters: Betty Spencer of Indiana, Joy Hostetler of Conesville, Joanne Marolt of Zanesville, Judy (John) Crossen of Florida, Sharon (Merle) Pierce of Crooksville, Carla Christy of Sunbury, Cathy Dollings of Columbus and Tammy Jones of Crooksville and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband: Robert P. Fowler, son: Billy Fowler (infant), grandson: Robby Hayes (infant) brother: Paul Bowen, sisters: Patty Short and Donna Printz.

Visitation for Cynthia will be 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM Sunday September 12, 2010, with Christian Vigil service at 6:00 PM, at Bryan & Snider Funeral Home 2318 Maple Ave. where funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday September 13, 2010. Father Martin Ralko will officiate with committal service to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
