Dennis (Denny) Barton

Long time radio DJ, Dennis (Denny) Barton, 74, of Zanesville died Monday December 7, 2020 in Zanesville. Denny was affiliated with WHIZ Radio for over a decade and was also formerly an announcer with WEZZ Christian Radio here in Zanesville. He was a Vietnam era Navy veteran and was a Christian by faith. He was born March 3, 1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Son of the late Alfred and Sue Barton.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Barton; son, Brent (Crystal) Barton; daughters, Stacy (Shane) Stoneburner, Jennifer Ammerman; brothers, Pat Barton, David Barton; and seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He is preceded in death in addition to his parents by his brother, Tom Barton and sister, Sharon Maley.

Due to Covid-19 Pandemic, burial at South Olive Cemetery will be private.

Delong-Baker and Lanning Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
