Denny’s Robbery

At least one person is in custody after an early morning robbery at a local restaurant.

According to a report from the Muskingum County Sheriffs’ Office around 3:30 Thursday morning a male wearing a jacket and jeans with a gray beard robbed the Denny’s at the Airport exit.

A witness said she smashed his hand in the door before he left in a red maroon car. The vehicle carrying two people was pulled over a short time later on Downing Drive.

The report states the witness made a positive identification of the man. It’s unknown how much money was taken.
