Denver “Denny” E. Barr, 1933 – 2018

Denver “Denny” Eugene Barr, 84 of Zanesville, died, Monday, March 19, 2018, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville following a brief illness. He was born Saturday, April 8, 1933 in Zanesville, the son of Hugh Farrel Barr and Eleanore (Anderson) Barr and was a faithful member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Denver served his country in the United States Army during Korean War. He enjoyed painting and going to the Muskingum County Center for Seniors, where he took great pride in having painted the murals for all to enjoy.

He is survived by one daughter Cathy Barr and Barry Long, both of McConnelsville, one grandson Patrick (Cassie) Winner of Malta; two great grandsons, McGwire and Larkin Winner; and one sister Virginia “Ginger” Stinson of Kansas.

Friends may call from 1:00 PM till 3:00 PM, Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Grace United Methodist Church, 516 Shinnick Street, Zanesville, where Memorial Services will follow at 3:00 PM, with Pastor Mark Chow officiating.
