Diabetes Walk Coming Up

Area residents will have the chance to lace up their tennis shoes and walk for a good cause.

Foxfire High School is sponsoring the third annual Walk for Diabetes.

"Foxfire is challenging other schools, but individuals can walk in this event themselves," said Dr. Charles Cerney, Vice President of the Muskingum Chapter of the Diabetes Initiative. "There’s a $5 contribution to walk or walkers can have sponsors."

The walk will be held Saturday, May 14 at 9 a.m. at Zane Landing Park. The registration charge is $5.
