Disaster Funds Available In Muskingum County

If you suffered damage from last week’s severe storms you could qualify for disaster assistance funds.  The Muskingum County Job and Family Services says the money can be used for home repairs, tree removal, appliance replacement or temporary housing assistance.  You can apply starting today and running through the close of business on August 2nd.  All applicants are being asked to bring proof in household income for the last 30 for all members of the household, at least two estimates from reputable business establishments verifying requested assistance, proof of homeowner insurance deductibles and social security cards of all household members.  You could qualify for up to $500 if you meet all the qualifications.  For more information call Muskingum County Job and Family Services at 454-0161
