Dixon Trial Starts Second Week

The murder trial of Lafonse Dixon enters its second week of testimony on Monday.

Dixon is charged with aggravated murder, kidnapping and aggravated arson in the death of Celeste Fronsman in August of 2012. Fronsman was found beaten and burned on State Route 208 by a passing motorists.

During testimony on Friday Monica Washington explained to the jury how she met Dixon by getting drugs and Celeste Fronsman and Katrina Culberson from prostituting on the streets of Canton.

Washington also explained her role in beating Fronsman and didn’t realize at first it was Culberson’s intention to kill her. She explained that she took the stand to own up to what she’d done and said the Dixon should also own up to his role in Fronsman’s death.

Both Washington and Culberson have already plead guilty to murder for their roles in Fronsman’s death.
