Doggy Days-Harley

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center is introducing another furry friend.
Meet Harley. She is a two year old pit mix, ready to find her forever family. Harley is a very young and happy dog. She is the perfect dog to take care of, she takes treats easy and is great during walks. Deputy Dog Warden, Brittany Calihan, said on cold days like today Harley only wants to hang out indoors and stay warm.
“She really enjoys her dog bed. And days like today when it’s cold she does not want to go out. You almost have to force her to go out. Some of the dogs love it, but not her, I think she really likes being inside and being warm,” said Calihan.
The Dog Warden and Adoption Center received a generous donation from the Health Department. They donated needles and syringes to help with the dog vaccinations done on site.
“They donated so much. I mean, we’re probably good for a year or more. So they were very generous with donations,” Calihan said.
Harley’s adoption fee is $105, which includes everything. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. If you’re interested in meeting Harley, contact the Dog Warden and Adoption Center at (740) 453-0273.
