Dona M. Long (September 18, 1929 – November 7, 2013)

Dona Mae Long, 84, of Zanesville, passed away at 9:15 AM Thursday November 7, 2013 at Beckett House at New Concord.

She was born September 18, 1929 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Francis and Helen Kimberly Byrne. Dona was formerly employed at Zanesville Denture Care and attended church at the Salvation Army.

Dona is survived by her son: Gregory D. Long of Zanesville, daughter: Tracy D. Bates (David Froman) of Zanesville, grandchildren: Kerrie (Franklin) Webb, Melissa (Keith) Wakeley, great grandchildren: Taylor Ann Webb, Emily Frances Webb, Breanna Marie Wakeley and Bram Allen Wakeley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband: Robert J. Long.

Private visitation and cremation as per Dona’s wishes will be observed. A memorial service in Dona’s honor will be observed at 2:00 PM Sunday November 10, 2013 at the Salvation Army Chapel officiated by George Bates.
