DRESDEN, Ohio- The Dresden Swimming Center is open for the summer.

This aquatic oasis features an Olympic size pool with a slide and other fun activities. Although this facility is more than 20 years old It doesn’t look like it. The entire pool received a new paint job along with landscape adjustments.

“We offer two group swim lessons during the last two weeks of June and last two weeks of July Monday-Thursday for kids of all ages,” Manager Nick Bice said. “We also offer water aerobics Monday- Thursday for $2 a rate at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.”

The cost of daily admission is $7. Dresden Swimming Center is open from Monday- Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday noon until 7 p.m.

“For a real small town like Dresden it’s a very nice pool. Longaberger built way back when they were going. They put a lot of money into it and we’ve kept up with it. And we just try to keep it real nice for public,” Bice said.

If you would like to cool off by the pool or swim like Nemo visit the Dresden Swimming Center at 1330 South Main Street.
