Drug Arrest in Perry County

Kramer New Lexington, OH- The Perry County Sheriff’s Office said a traffic stop led to the discovery of drugs in New Lexington.

It took place Monday, April 29 around 1pm. The Sheriff’s Office said that vehicle was stopped by detectives with the CODE Task Force for the suspected transportation of illegal narcotics.

During the stop authorities said K9 Bruno was deployed and alerted to the presence of illegal narcotics. During a search they uncovered suspected Methamphetamine and a loaded 9mm pistol.

Officials said they arrested Jason S. Kramer, of Lancaster, for possession of suspected Methamphetamine with a firearm specification. He’s being held in the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.
