Drug Suspects Arraigned

The five people arrested in connection with 20 pounds of marijuana and 100-thousand dollars in cash appear in court today in Zanesville.  The four local residents arrested all pleaded not guilty – 30-year-old Todd Harris is facing multiple charges including possession of drugs and money laundering…29-year-old Bethany Harris is facing four different counts including possession of drugs and money laundering. 30-year-old Jeffrey Jones and  29-year-old Daniel Johnson also facing multiple charges including possession of drugs and money laundering. A fifth  defendant Andrew McGivney of Los Angeles California – who faces similar charges, also entered a plea of not guilty.  A sixth defendant – 29-year-old Jonathan Royster also of Los Angeles, California plead not guilty to similar charges earlier this week. Common Pleas Judge Mark Fleegle continued their bonds that ranged from 100-to-250-thousand dollars each. Prosecutor Mike Haddox says all suspects in this case have now been arraigned.
