Eaglesticks Hosts Central Ohio Junior Classic

It was a perfect day for golf on Wednesday as some of the best junior golfers from around the state competed in the Central Ohio Junior Classic at Eaglesticks Golf Club.  Over 80 male and female golfers ranging from 7-18 years old took their shot at the par-70 layout looking to win a title, while those in the older age brackets were also getting some much needed tournament experience before high school tryouts in August.  Below are the top finishers from the boys 16-18 and girls 13-18 year old brackets.

16-18 Year Old Boys

1st – Skyler Roderer (Cambridge) – 35-37 = 72

2nd – Layne Scheufler (Orrville) – 39-34 = 73

T3rd – Caleb Jago (Crooksville) – 40-36 = 76

T3rd – Jordan Glick (Malvern) – 40-36 = 76

13-18 Year Old Girls

1st – Erica Mawhorr (West Muskingum) – 41-39 = 80

T2nd – Lexi Bubenchik (John Glenn) – 40-49 = 89

T2nd – Alex Brooker (Westerville North) – 46-43 = 89
