Eastside’s 2024 Chair-ity Auction Was a Success

ZANESVILLE, OH – Eastside Community Ministry recently held their annual Chair-ity Auction, and the results were nothing short of spectacular.

From February 22nd to the 24th, the community came together to support Eastside Community Ministry and their generosity shone through, raising an impressive $30,000. The auction featured an array of beautifully decorated chairs, among the standouts was Raising Canes, the recipient of the 2024 People’s Choice award.

“We are really happy with the results of our Chair-ity Auction. We’re happy to report that we raised $30,000 because of the support of the community. That is also from donations that people have been sending in, and I even got some today. We may even get more, but right now we’re at $30,000,” Eastside Community Ministry Executive Director, Jamie Trout said.

The funds raised will be directed towards Eastsides everyday initiatives, including their food pantry, youth programs, emergency relief programs, and more.

“We serve so many people in the community. I like to say that Eastside serves everyone from zero to 99. This is a really needed thing in our community and we’re just happy to be here and happy that people believe in our ministry,” Trout said.

Eastside Community Ministry looks forward to next year’s Chair-ity Auction and continuing their mission.
