Edna Faye Johnson (December 2, 1922 – September 21, 2010)

Edna Faye Johnson, 87, of Zanesville, passed away at 4:25 am, Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at Genesis Hospital, Good Samaritan Campus.

Faye was born December 2, 1922 in Zanesville the daughter of the late Ivan and Mary (Tom) Moore. She was a home maker and a member of the 1st Christian Church of Zanesville.

Faye is survived by her daughters Kay (Don) Blaney of Zanesville, her sister Eileen Young of Zanesville her grandchildren Heather (Nelson) McElhaney of Duncan Falls and Jennifer (Cory) Williams of Maineville, OH and Matt Blaney of Zanesville; her great grandchildren Connor and Carson Willaims and her step-great grandchildren Kalob and Jake McElhaney.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband John H. Johnson who passed away November 29, 1998 and her sister Dorothy Ferguson.

A graveside service will be held 11 am Thursday in Duncan Falls Cemetery with Aaron B. Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
