Ethel Alma Greene (December 29, 1923 – October 24, 2011)

Ethel Alma Greene, 87, of Zanesville passed away on Monday October 24, 2011 at Emeritus at North Hills in Zanesville.
Ethel was born on December 29, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Emil and Vivian Relstab. She was the former owner of Lindsay Softwater which later became ECO Water. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was President of Ruth Guild and attended Ladies Aid Meetings, Order of Eastern Star #485, White Shrine, and George Selsam VFW Post 1058 Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by a daughter Darlene “Dee” (John) Humm of Zanesville, a son Ray (Sherry) Gillespie of Zanesville, four grandchildren: Michael Humm, Rhonda Humm, Jonathon Gillespie, and Wendy Gillespie. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Joseph C. Greene M.D.

Visitation will be from 11am to 1pm on Thursday October 27, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Services will follow at 1pm with Pastor Mark Matzke officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
