Fairfield Co. Fatal Accident

Fairfield County, OH- An accident in Fairfield County claims the life of a motorcyclist.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said Jared Ross of Williamsport was killed Monday. The accident took place just after 3:30pm on US 22 and Amanda Northern Road.

Authorities said Ross was driving his motorcycle east on US 22 when a vehicle driven by 59-year-old Robert Johnson II of Newark went across the center line striking the motorcycle head on.

Authorities said Ross was ejected from the motorcycle and pronounced deceased at the scene.
