ZANESVILLE, OH – The Campus Greens were abuzz today as students from Zane State College and Ohio University Zanesville came together for their annual Fall Fest.

Fall Fest kicked off at 10:30 and wrapped around 1PM on Wednesday afternoon, but it gave students the chance to take a break from classes, hang out with friends, and see what the community has to offer.

Audryonah Henderson, the Regional Recruitment Manager at OUZ, says it’s a great opportunity for students to connect with other majors as well as some of the clubs on campus.

“They get to meet with all the different clubs and all the different majors of OU.” Henderson said. “Then also we also get to meet with a bunch of the different services and careers that they could have after.”

Some of the organizations in attendance were Genesis Healthcare System, Chick-Fil-A, WHIZ, and the Muskingum County Library System, with food provided by Chef Steve.

Henderson says it’s just good to see the students out and about enjoying themselves while also preparing for their next steps.

“It’s really great to be able to have it because they’re going to [be able] to get with the different clubs that they’re not a part of,” Henderson explained, “Or the different majors that they want to explore then meet the places they would get to work with when they get their degree.”

If you missed Fall Fest, there will be another opportunity to showcase your club or business during Spring Fest.
