Family Farm brings Homemade Products to Crooksville-Roseville Pottery Festival

CROOKSVILLE, OH- One of the standout vendors at this year’s Crooksville-Roseville Pottery Festival was Raven and Boar Farms, a family run business bringing handcrafted and farm fresh goods to communities across southeast Ohio.
The farm, which opened in 2023, offers a range of homemade and farm fresh products including teas, salves, beard and body oils, eggs, produce, and even mythical meat sticks and hot sauces. Owner Irisa Garfolo said the idea for the business grew naturally out of her family’s lifestyle.
“We wanted to start our retirement business while our kids were in school, and we have always been holistic as much as possible, I make our own teas, I make my husband’s beard oil, the salves I started making for my sons eczema, cuts, bruises, and scrapes, so the stuff we were already using we decided to put into a farm store that was non-seasonal, and then as the farm produces we will bring in seasonal herbs, plants, produce, and so forth,” said Garfolo.
The business prides itself on staying true to its roots.
“Everything we do is from our family to yours, if our family would not use or support the product then we will not offer that product,” Garfolo said.
