Farm Accident Kills Area Man
The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office said one person has died after a Tuesday morning farm accident.
The accident took place just after 7am at 5930 Edgemoor Road in Adamsville. Sheriff Matt Lutz reports that 51-year-old William Miller, a resident of the farm, was attempting to use the PTO Shaft on a tractor to run a compressor on a milking parlor.
The Sheriff said Miller became entangled in the PTO shaft and sustained severe injuries and died at the scene.
Miller lived at the residence with his wife, son and three daughters.
