Fatal Accident on SR 79 in Hebron
HEBRON, Ohio—The Hebron Police Department is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash on State Route 79.
The accident happened Thursday morning just before 7:00 a.m. near the intersection of John Alford Parkway within the Village of Hebron.
Authorities said 57-year-old Joseph Rodgers of Hebron was traveling southbound on SR 79 when his vehicle crossed left-of-center into the northbound lanes and struck a utility pole.
Rodgers was transported to Licking Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
